With the rising number of Muslim students , the need for a Masjid is ever intense. Alhamdulillah MSA members and patrons, are working on the project of building a Masjid suitable for students and local community. We look forward for generous help from philanthropists, to accomplish this noble project and secure virtues for Akhira.
We are thankful to MTU administration for providing us a room in Wadsworth hall, by reservation for offering daily, Day time prayers (Zohar, Asar) including Juma in congregation. This makeshift arrangement is pioneer to our main project. We are also thankful to Daniel height officials/ community for allowing us to pray in congregation, the other three prayers( Fajr, Maghrib, Isha) in activity room. However MSA is in full understanding of not to conflict their prayer offering, with any scheduled or unscheduled activity happened to be in progress. Daily timings for prayer in congregation are reqularly updated in the sidebar.
We encourage our Muslim brothers who may be are prospective students of MTU, not to refrain from coming here on the basis of not having Masjid. Since our Salah program is working and InshaAllah together we will be able to get an Independent Masjid … Aameen!
